The Difference between Heaven and Earth

This particular trip was not just another trip to puri. The visit to the temple through the alleys of old Puri emitting essences of Benares from the inlaid verandahs and the buildings being coloured in a civilization that reflected a lost, hidden, city that one were only destined to find. Where the apsaras and gods still reside. The soft whispering chants of miracle mantras that which if one heard would cure bodily ailments. The Sacred city waiting to revive all its believers. Breathing at its heart is the Jagganath temple. The Lions standing as protectors of the city. For those who seek shall find the clouds in the street. I was transported back to another time where there were temple dancers on the street and music delicately soothing the soul. The trees and derelict buildings speaking of a golden time which can be felt reviving now. The sacred city being cleverly camoflauged to the observer momentarily casting its glimpses and charms and speaking poetry through tounges one thought no longer to be in existence.
Being born of the union of Radha Krishna the city's trees were swaying with the rythm of Krishna's flute and and flowers fragranlty adorning radha's long dark hair. Krishna was singing in his yearning and madness for Radha. Radha after hearing Krishna's songs could no longer bear separation from him and decides to greet him with her presence. She graces him slowly with her presence and she reveals her face and rests her head on Krishna's lap and lets him take a glimpse of her. At this Krishna becomes speechless and starts crying out of Joy and ecstasy as he can't believe his eyes. Radha then consoles Krishna and then says
"don't cry my beloved
i heard you chanting my name
i am here now
all your pain will leave your body
and we shall be one
No such force exsists that can stop us"

After being cured of all Krishna's yearnings and pain he being so healed falls asleep on Radha's lap where he belongs.

The city's large metal doors then close. This is where the first chapter ends.
